The first two weeks of the season are a trial period where each new person can try the sport for free.

Dues for the Fall 2011 Season are $500 due on September 1

(Installments may be paid by Sept 1 - $200, Oct 1 - $150, and Nov 1 - $150)

There are currently FIVE opportunities to experience rowing, tryout for the team, and join a squad during each calendar year.  Generally anyone from the eighth grade and up can tryout.  Occasionally we will accept an above average seventh grader on the team; however, they need to be characteristically more mature than other students in their peer group. At any time during the year, you may Contact Us ahead of time to watch a practice or talk with the coaches.    If you want to see the sport up close, this is a great opportunity to ride with a coach in a motor boat.    

Opportunity One:  Summer Camp

The Augusta Junior Rowing Club will hold a “Learn to Row Camp” June 21 – June 25, 2010 -- 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon) and July 26 - July 30, at the Boathouse, 101 Riverfront Drive, Augusta, 30901.  The camp is for ages 12 – 18 and costs $85.00 which includes t-shirt, snacks and coaching fees.  Space is limited so register as soon as possible.  For more information call 706-821-2875 or 706-738-3991.  Please print and fill out a Waiver (pdf) and Summer Camp Registration (pdf).
